CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Correction Window: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the correction window for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination on October 30, allowing registered candidates to make modifications to their submitted application forms. The facility will remain active until November 1, 2025 (11:50 PM) on the candidate portal available at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
As per the NTA’s public notice, this is a one-time correction facility provided to help candidates rectify errors in their CSIR UGC NET 2025 December session application details before the exam process begins. Candidates are strongly advised to review their forms carefully and make corrections where necessary. Once the deadline passes, no further changes will be entertained under any circumstances.
The agency has also clarified that final corrections will be applied only after the payment of any applicable additional fees, especially if changes impact the category or PwBD status of a candidate. In such cases, the revised fee difference must be paid online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. Excess payments, if any, will not be refunded.
The official notice reads, “As per the information published in the Information Bulletin and Public Notice, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to make corrections in the particulars of their respective application forms of Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025. Candidates are allowed to make the corrections latest by 01 November 2025 (up to 11:50 PM). Thereafter, no correction in particulars whatsoever will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.”
The CSIR UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for appointment as Assistant Professor or admission to PhD programmes in universities and colleges across India.
