From MVA, the NCP (SP) is contesting four seats, Congress three and Shiv Sena (UBT) is contesting one seat with only one sitting legislator and two former legislators in the fray. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is contesting four seats.
“The BJP booth management for all eight assembly constituencies is in place. Booth volunteers will have to ensuure that the dedicated number of voters assigned to each of them come out on the polling day and exercise their franchise,” said city BJP chief Dheeraj Ghate.
The BJP volunteers will be working even for alliance partners Shiv Sena and NCP, he said.
The MVA is relying on its team of booth level workers of alliance partners. “The Congress, NCP (SP) and Shiv Sena (UBT) are working unitedly,” said a Congress leader.
The booth management is mainly done by cadre of party contesting the respective seat, he said adding, “The cadre of alliance partners are supporting the booth management team of the party contesting the seat.”

On Tuesday, both the Mahayuti and MVA were busy in booth management for polling day and keeping a check to stop wrong means to woo voters.
