After announcing his retirement our Indian government decided to confer upon him the most prestigious and highest civilian award Bharat Ratna. Sachin Tendulkar is one prime reason for Indians to swell their chest and say yes Sachin Tendulkar belongs to my country. So why are we still facing a query on our plans to award Sachin Bharat Ratna is it better to call him former cricketer Sachin than Bharat Ratna Sachin. 24 years for a game that changed his life. He has achieved an incredible feat. 200 Test matches is not an easy lullaby to sing. So in my opinion,yes Sachin should be awarded Bharat Ratna. For the man who has broken & made so many records,let us let him create his one last record by becoming the first cricketer to receive Bharat Ratna.

Bharat Ratna,India’s most prestigious award means ‘Indian jewel’. It has been regularly conferred on civilians for the highest degree of national service. It has been announced that the following year it is going to be presented to Professor C N Rao and Sachin Tendulkar.

What has Sachin done that he deserves the Bharat Ratna? Sachin has let India dream about India’s dominance in cricket. He has inspired millions to take up the sport and earned respect from various countries because of his blistering cricketing skills and the humility shown by him and that he has made a trend of cricketers endorsing a brand.

Sachin has popularized cricket in his career of 24 years. Former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan once responded when asked what he will take from India,he responded “Sachin de do.” Thus,Sachin deserves Bharat Ratna.

The government deserves to be complimented on its finest gesture of conferring the Bharat Ratna on Sachin,one of the finest sons of India. He stood tall even when the game of cricket was being tarnished through match-fixing and betting. The fact that he scored most of his runs abroad his enormous talent. Sachin bid goodbye to cricket in style. He has been a source of inspiration to youngsters,and a role model to the current crop of cricket players. His final speech was memorable. His sound technique with the bat,deep concentration on the field and unfailing attitude made him a cricketer for all generations. There have been demands for a long time that he be conferred the honour. He truly deserves the Bharat Ratna.

Bharat Ratna: The name itself shows one who shines like a Ratna of the nation. So Sachin is the right choice according to me because I’m a die hard fan of his Cricket and he has made the nation proud on various occasions. Also various persons have given their views with regard to same. It’s alright to award Bharat Ratna to sportspersons as they are the nation’s representatives in their respective sport. But it should not be restricted to only cricketers and Olympians who win gold- Kallol Dasgupta,Kolkata. Describing Sachin Tendulkar as worthy recipient of the Bharat Ratna award,sportspersons from different disciplines lend their voice to confer the iconic batsman with the country’s highest civilian honour. To conclude,government should confer the award to Sachin Tendulkar for he definitely deserves the accolades.

I think the government should confer Bharat Ratna Award to Sachin Tendulkar because he has served Indian Cricket for 24 years. It is not a normal thing. He has inspired millions of people in the world to play cricket. He is also known as the ‘God of Cricket’. How can a person serve a game for 24 years,important 24 years of his life to Cricket.

India has won 2 world cups 1 of the world cup has been won because of Sachin Tendulkar. He has played important knocks in cricket match. He has made many records of cricket such as first person to make double century in ODI’s,maximum runs in Test and ODI’s.

Many of the Indian Cricket fans were wishing to give Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar.

“Hard work is the key to success.” This is the quote correctly describes Sachin. He is referred as God of Cricket who truly is and is the youngest to receive,43rd,to receive a Bharat Ratna,the most valuable and honorable award one can achieve in his life time.

Sachin receiving a Bharat Ratna would be a great thing but he deserves more than this as he contributed a lot for the country since 15th November 1989 for 24 years of his loyal service to the country. It would appropriate for sachin to receive a bharat ratna as he is true gem of India. He being a good player,person,is also a dedicated,humble,inspiring player as well throughout his journey inspiring generations by his qualities and skills of playing cricket.

Sachin being a role model,inspiration,GOD for a huge population truly deserves this honor. His skills,achievements,qualities make him a suitable person to be awarded this award.

“For performance of highest order in any field of human endeavor” was made the criteria of The Bharat Ratna in December 2011. A few hours before Sachin Tendulkars retirement the UPA Government declared Sachin as the next awardee of The Bharat Ratna. He,who gave us a reason to love cricket,he who was our pride,is being pointed fingers at,today. The fact that he is the first sportsperson to receive this award has raised a lot of eyebrows,in envy of Tendulkar. The criteria for The Bharat Ratna was changed for the Master Blaster and thanks to him other sports personalities are getting a chance of earning this award,actually,even the reason of this article is him. On the last day of his cricketing career he made two more,by becoming the first sportsperson and also the youngest dignitary to be chosen for Bharat Ratna,the country’s highest civilian award.

The demand for bestowing Bharat Ratna on the Indian cricket legend,Sachin Tendulkar is pouring in from all the corners of the country after the Maharashtra assembly adopted a resolution seeking the same. In a rare gesture ,the Maharashtra assembly unanimously recommended that Bharat Ratna,the country’s highest civilian award,on cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

A motion recommending the Bharat Ratna and congratulating the Indian team for winning the ICCC cricket world cup 2011 moved by chief minister Prithviraj Chavan was supported and adopted by all political parties. ‘’We recommend that Sachin Tendulkar be conferred with the Bharat Ratna contribution to sports,‘’ Chavan said while moving the motion which got the support of the entire house. So what do you think? Is it not a high time that we should push for Bharat Ratna for Sachin

We identify so closely with someone like Sachin Tendulkar,today Sachin Tendulkar stands as a testament for determination,grit and unwavering passion. His accomplishment have earned him the title of ‘ Master Blaster.’ The reigning Master Blaster and rightly so. He is and continues to be a shiny example of belief and vision of India’s own proverbial greatness.

Yes giving Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar is a right decision made because he does things we cannot aspire to,or even want to give the amount of sacrifice involved,yet his centuries and aggregates and averages retain our faith in ourselves as a race. He reserved his best for the last and to me that epitomized that true nature of a way wonders who went to become.
