Air India flight delayed as tyre deflates

Around 100 passengers of the Aurangabad-bound Air India flight IC 887 were stuck at the airport for hours after the aircrafts tyre deflated as it was taxiing to the main runway.

Around 100 passengers of the Aurangabad-bound Air India flight IC 887 were stuck at the airport for hours after the aircrafts tyre deflated as it was taxiing to the main runway. The aircraft,which was scheduled to depart at 3.55 pm,finally took off at 6.15 pm,according to the CSIA website.

The incident happened around 4.19 pm. The aircraft was taken to the parking bay and the tyre replaced,after which the aircraft left,said an airline spokesperson.
