A2Z asked to clear garbage within 3 months: Gupta

City is facing problems in garbage lifting and thus we apprised A2Z of their deficiencies, the sanitation wing said.

Local bodies secretary Ashok Gupta on Saturday said that A2Z- garbage lifting company has been given a three-months time to clear garbage dumps in the city. In city to visit Jamalpur garbage dump site on Tajpur road, Gupta organised a meeting with Ludhiana MC health officials. A S Sekhon, head of MC health and sanitation wing said, “City is facing problems in garbage lifting and thus we apprised A2Z of their deficiencies.”

“They have been given last chance and time frame of three months to improve the situation. Also, they will be giving us in writing till Monday that things will change .”
