Exit polls a ploy,LF to get 199 seats: Biman

Bose seemed unperturbed by the predictions of almost all the exit polls,saying,“Exit polls are a ploy to malign our polling agents and poor people who have supported us. It has no link with reality as the sample base of these surveys is less than 1 per cent of the total vote bank. Mark my words,all the exit polls will be reduced to fiction once the results are out.”

He criticised sections of the media by calling them perpetrators of anti-social forces in the state. On the role of the news media in this election,he said,“We were aware of the phenomenon of paid news. But this is an era of contract news. It is most unfortunate that the media has been sold out to corporate and political parties.”
