Delhi: Three men loot cold drink godown in Tri Nagar, flee with Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh

Three unidentified assailants looted a cold drink godown on Hansapuri Road in Northwest Delhi’s Tri Nagar on Monday afternoon. According to police, a PCR call was received at Keshav Puram police station around 4.00 pm reporting the incident.

Upon reaching the spot, the police met the complainant, Deepak Aggarwal. In his statement, Aggarwal informed that he and his business partner, Deepak Garg, were working inside their godown when three men arrived on a black motorcycle. According to the police, the assailants, armed with a pistol and a knife, threatened them and robbed approximately Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh in cash from the counter before fleeing the scene.

A case has been registered under sections 311 (robbery or dacoity with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt) and 3(5) (common intent) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Efforts are on to identify the accused using CCTV footage and local intelligence, police said
