A 52-year-old man,working as a general manager in a private firm,was robbed of Rs 40,000 and other valuables at gunpoint by two men in Southeast Delhi’s Maharani Bagh area,police said. The incident took place on July 20,when Piyush Jain was returning to his Saibabad residence.

In his complaint,Jain said he was driving home when he stopped to receive a call. Two men on a scooter parked it in front of his car. “When I rolled down the window,they pointed a gun at me and demanded Rs 15 Lakh,” Jain said. Jain handed over

Rs 40,000,his wristwatch and other valuables,after which the accused fled. Jain then made a PCR call.
