The body of a 40-year-old woman was found in a park in Uttam Nagar, West Delhi.
Police said residents who were jogging at the Kali Basti park spotted the body of the woman near a tree in the park.
Police said the body had numerous injury marks on the face and hands.
Police said the woman has been identified as Sukhmati. DCP (West) Ranvir Singh said a murder case had been registered and
investigation in the matter is underway.
