A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by four persons at a dance academy in Vikaspuri,West Delhi,police said. She had reportedly gone to attend classes at the dance school.
The dance school instructor and a friend of his have been arrested and two juveniles have also been detained in the case,police said.
The incident was reported on July 5.
The girl told us that after class her dance instructor asked her to accompany him to a park. When they returned from the park he took her to the dance institute,where his friend joined him. Some time later two 15-year-old boys also came there and she was allegedly gangraped by four of them, said a senior police officer.
The victims family reported the matter on July 6.
The victim was sent for a medical examination,which confirmed she has been sexually assaulted. There were no visible injury marks on her body. The accused did not beat her up, said the officer.
The dance instructor has been identified as Gulshan Sharma (19) and his friend as Ramu. The two juveniles have been sent to an observation home.
Police said they would also question the dance academy owner to ascertain why the premises was open after classes,without any security guard.
