MBBS admission process to start June 28

As per the Supreme Court guidelines,the admission procedure for MBBS in Gujarat will begin from June 28. The admission forms will be available at Axis Bank branches at Rs 170 till July 19. The last date for receipt of application forms is July 22. A total of 35,000 students in the state passed out this year from class XII (science). The merit list for admissions to medical and paramedical courses will take into account marks of Class XII exam and the score of Gujarat Common Entrance Test with the two exams getting 60 per cent and 40 per cent weightage respectively.
