Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, who are known as Bollywood's best jodis, have rocked Bollywood with their sizzling chemistry for more than two decades. And every time you see them together onscreen, they make you fall in love with them all over again. SRK and Kajol are once again sharing the screen space in Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale.'
But not many would know that the most loved onscreen couple has only worked together in just six films prior to Dilwale.
Both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol started their career in 1992. SRK made his debut with Deewana (1992) while Kajol made her film debut with Bekhudi (1992). Here's a look at their earlier magical associations.
Baazigar (1993) - Baazigar was movie where the then rising stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol shared screen space in a romantic thriller. And even being the fresh faces in Bollywood, SRK and Kajol raised the bar of romance and love with their crackling on screen chemistry. Their chemistry was loved by all and Baazigar made them stars overnight.
Karan Arjun (1995) - The hit Jodi was once again seen together in a reincarnation action drama. And yet again they nailed it with their sensuous chemistry. The two also raised the oomph level in their famous song 'Jaati Hoon Main'. This was their second biggest hit.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) - Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol created history with this movie and became the eternal lovers onscreen. After DDLJ, people loved everything about protagonists Raj and Simran and even after 20 years, they are still fresh in the minds of the people. The movie also completed its 20 years recently.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) - After redefining love in DDLJ, SRK and Kajol reunited for Karan Johar's directorial debut 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. SRK and Kajol were loved for their energy and the sizzling chemistry they bring onscreen. The evergreen couple once again managed to spread their magic and won millions of hearts.
Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) - After keeping alive the love and romance for almost a decade, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol came together for yet another Karan Johar film - Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham. Shah Rukh Khan as a rich businessman and Kajol as a girl chandni chowk girl stole the hearts of many. They redefined love of a married couple with their innocence, wit and playful chemistry.
My Name Is Khan (2010) - After a long gap of nine years, the golden pair of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol came together onscreen but not in a typical boy meets girl romance but a very matured romantic love story. SRK played Rizwan a man with Asperger's syndrome while Kajol played a divorced hairdresser. They rekindled love and chemistry and looked beautiful together even after certain aging. The movie broke many box office records and it was the highest grossing Bollywood film in overseas.
Dilwale (2015) - Shah Rukh Khan, 50, and Kajol, 41, will be reuniting to mesmerize the audience with their electrifying chemistry in their most awaited film of the year Dilwale.
