The 200-seat Rajasthan Assembly will go to the polls on November 25.  The counting is scheduled on December 3, 2023. While the Congress is looking to retain its power in the western state, the BJP is working to bounce back by fielding a number of MPs from the state.

In 2018 polls, the Congress won 100 out of 200 Assembly seats – short of simple majority by only 1 seat – while the BJP secured 73. The Congress formed the government with the help of Bahujan Samaj Party.
