One of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s luxury Limousine, which was reportedly a part of his “official car fleet”, caught fire and exploded on the streets of Moscow, just north of Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters.

Media reports did not reveal who was using the car at the time and reportedly belonged to President Putin’s Presidential Property Management Department.

There were no immediate reports of the reason behind the fire in the Limousine but it was confirmed that those who were there in the car escaped at an appropriate time and remained unharmed.

The blast in Putin’s car in Moscow comes after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a warning that ill health of Russian President Putin will lead to his death soon amid health rumours of the Kremlin leader.

“He will die soon, that is a fact, and everything will be over,” Zelenskyy had said.

Footage showed a thick plume of black smoke coming out from the car’s engine as the Limousine was seen burning in Lubyanka, near the FSB headquarters.

Putin, 72, has been known to use Russian made limousines and has even gifted it to his allies, including the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Recently, ceremonial guards were searched upon by Federal Protection Service (FSO) officers in Murmansk. “This is how much he fears for his life,” a former bodyguard said on Putin’s paranoia over threat to his life, The Sun reported.
