Wholly independent Israeli operation: Netanyahu

“Today’s action against the top terrorist chieftains of Hamas was a wholly independent Israeli operation,” Netanyahu’s office said in a social media post.

“Israel initiated it, Israel conducted it, and Israel takes full responsibility.”

Neither the Israeli military nor Netanyahu explicitly referred to the location of the attack in the Qatari capital in their statements.

Operations against Hamas will continue: IDF

The IDF on Tuesday said that operations against Hamas, which was responsible for the October 7 massacre, will continue.

“The IDF and ISA conducted a precise strike targeting the senior leadership of the Hamas terrorist organization.

For years, these members of the Hamas leadership have led the terrorist organization’s operations, are directly responsible for the brutal October 7 massacre, and have been orchestrating and managing the war against the State of Israel.

Prior to the strike, measures were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and additional intelligence.

Saudi, UAE, Jordan condemned Israeli attack

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman called Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani to condemn Israel’s strike.

The crown prince offers Saudi Arabia’s “full support for the sisterly State of Qatar, and its condemnation of the blatant Israeli attack on the sisterly State of Qatar, which constitutes a criminal act and a flagrant violation of international laws and norms,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said.

United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed said, “In full solidarity with dear Qatar.”

Israel informed US

A White House official has said that Israel notified the United States before it carried out the airstrikes.

“We were informed in advance,” the White House official told AFP on condition of anonymity about the strike on Qatar, a key US ally that’s home to a large US military base.
