UP man fires pistol in daylight

A video of a man firing a pistol in broad daylight in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida has now emerged on social media on Tuesday. According to information, the man is a resident of Surajpur town.

Shared by a journalist on X, the now-viral video opens with the man standing on his terrace and firing the pistol in the air. According to the post, the man has been identified as Jitendra Pratap Singh and a member of the Samajwadi Party (SP).

Soon after the video came to light, Uttar Pradesh police responded to it, directing a probe into the matter.

On Monday, a video of a man thrashing a cab driver with a pistol butt in the middle of the road had gone viral. According to reports, the man lost his cool on the cab driver after his SUV was hit from behind in the Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow city, Uttar Pradesh.

After the video was widely circulated on social media, Congress slammed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the BJP government in the state.

Early this month, a video of a woman dancing with a gun for an Instagram reel took social media by storm. The clip, featuring popular YouTuber Simran Yadav, was reportedly shot on a highway in Lucknow. Following the incident, Lucknow police took prompt action.
