The ongoing Pune hit-and-run case has triggered massive outrage online. Days after the incident, two videos of a boy resembling the accused went viral. The cyber police registered a case against the reel maker, saying his videos have obscene and indecent statements, under IPC sections 509, 294(b) and IT Act section 67.
Following this, Malishka, a popular Mumbai-based radio jockey has created a song recounting the series of events in the case.
Sharing the video on X, she wrote, “Porsche konnacha? Baapacha. But Justice konnacha? Woke up to the news that they filed an F.I.R against a memer in the Pune Porsche case! Baaki sab mein passing the parcel chal hi raha hai!!So This song had to be done. what do you think? Do you believe justice will be served eventually in the Pune Porsche case?”

From the accused teen’s drunk driving to doctors being arrested for manipulating the teen’s blood sample, Malishka highlighted the major developments in the case. Shared on June 1, the video amassed over 17,000 views as social media users hailed her for highlighting the case. Reacting to it, a user commented, “More power to you…. Let’s keep targeting such disgraceful human beings…. Let not political pressure ever prevent you from tsrgrting more such cases.” Another user wrote, “Very well done! But please shed a tear for the victims.”

On May 19, two techies were killed in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar after a Porsche, allegedly driven by a drunk minor, rammed into their two-wheeler. The 17-year-old minor has been sent to an observation home, and his father and grandfather were arrested for allegedly kidnapping the family’s driver and putting pressure on him to take the blame.
