On the occassion of Diwali, Kiran Bedi recently took to the Internet to share the ‘spirit of Deepavali’ with her followers by posting a video of an elderly woman dancing and celebrating at her home. Assuming the woman to be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 97-year-old mother Hiraben, the Lt Governor of Puducherry tweeted “Spirit of Deepavali at tender age of 97. She’s mother of @narendramodi (Hiraben Modi -1920) celebrating Diwali at her own home????@SadhguruJV”. She thanked Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation, for sharing the video. After all which, she realised that the woman in the video was after all, not the Prime Minister’s mother.
