Puducherry CM V Narayanasamy, who has been at loggerheads with Kiran Bedi over her style of functioning since being appointed to the post in the Union Territory, alleged she was rejecting decisions of the elected government and "unnecessarily" interfered with routine governance.
At the 25th year celebration of Kiran Bedi’s India Vision Foundation Saturday afternoon, former convicts, families of convicts currently serving terms, and teachers with the foundation spoke about the impact of its projects.
Bedi had on Sunday tweeted that “poor governance, corrupt politics, indifferent bureaucracy with highly selfish and cowardly attitude of the people” were responsible for the water crisis in Tamil Nadu. She later deleted the tweet.
Bedi said that what she shared was “people’s perception” and not her personal view. “Perhaps those who did connect with me did not get to know what people are saying. It helps to know what people are saying. I have shared people’s perception,” she said.

New Delhi, Jan 08 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kiran Bedi on Friday said that a brutal sport like Jallikattu should not be encouraged in a civilized society. She stated that Supreme Court had previously banned the sport because of various reasons hence one should not go against it. She added that it was a very disturbing sport.
