A video of a man freeing several stray dogs from a surveillance vehicle in the middle of a road has sparked outrage on social media. According to the viral post, the incident occurred in Delhi. However, the location and date are uncertain.

The viral clip captures several stray dogs confined inside a surveillance vehicle. A man on a two-wheeler approaches the vehicle, reaches for the latch, and unlocks it, allowing the dogs to leap out onto the road. Sharing the video, the Instagram handle @theviralwatchofficial wrote, “A man releasing a group of dogs from what seems to be a surveillance vehicle is going viral on social media. What do you think about his act?”

The video quickly gained traction and invited backlash against the man as several social media users believed the stray dogs were taken away by municipal authorities for vaccination or sterilisation. “This is soo crazy…this guy should be punished,” a user wrote. “Not kindness it’s called dumbness they were actually being taken for neuter and vaccinations,” another user commented.

“It’s so unsafe to open the door of a moving vehicle, the babies can seriously get hurt. Second, what if they are being taken to be neutered?” a third user said. “Typical example of emotional foolishness. At least in the shelter they could have been attended properly,” the fourth user wrote.

Meanwhile, Noida police booked four persons on Sunday after an altercation broke out between a woman feeding stray dogs and her neighbours at Jaypee Kosmos Wish Town residential society in Sector 134. They were booked under sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 351(2) (criminal intimidation), and 352 (intentional insult) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
