All three major telecom operators in India have announced tariff hikes for both prepaid and postpaid users, Vi being the latest. Vi’s new recharge plans, starting from Rs 199 for a monthly prepaid plan and going up to Rs 3,499 for an annual plan, are now live.
Unlike Airtel and Jio, which offer unlimited 5G data on select plans, Vi currently does not provide 5G services. This might change soon, though. However, Vi offers data rollover capability and unlimited data between midnight and 6 am on some plans.
Vi offers several plans with 28 days of validity priced around Rs 300. The most affordable plan starts at Rs 199, providing 28 days of validity with unlimited calling and 2 GB of 4G data for the entire period. Additionally, there is a Rs 299 plan that offers 1 GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited calling for 28 days.
For Rs 349, Vi has a monthly plan with 28 days of validity with 1.5GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited calling. Similarly, the Rs 379 plan with 30 days of validity offers 2 GB of 4G data per day. For Rs 449, one can get 3 GB of data for 28 days along with unlimited calling benefits.
For Rs 509, Vi has a plan with three months of validity (84 days) with 6 GB of 4G data and unlimited calling. Next, there is a new plan for Rs 579, which offers two months of validity (56 days) with 1.5 GB of 4G data per day. And, the Rs 649 plan from Vi also offers two months of validity but with a 2 GB of 4G data limit per day.
For Rs 849, Vi has a three-month plan with 1.5GB of 4G data and unlimited calling. Similarly, there is also a plan for Rs 979 with 84 days of validity and a daily data limit of 2 GB.
The most affordable annual plan from Vi costs Rs 1999 and offers 24 GB of data for the entire period along with unlimited calling. Similarly, there is also a more expensive Rs 3499 plan with 365 days of validity with 1.5GB of 4G data per day.
