Jio, a major Indian telecom service provider, has introduced two new prepaid recharge plans priced at Rs 1,028 and Rs 1,029, respectively. While both plans offer nearly identical benefits, the difference is that the Rs 1,028 plan offers a Swiggy One Lite subscription while the Rs 1,029 plan includes a complimentary Amazon Prime Lite subscription.

The common benefits of these plans include 2 GB of 4G data per day for 84 days (three months) along with unlimited 5G data and unlimited calling. Additionally, both plans include JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud subscriptions. Note that these plans include a basic JioTV subscription, not JioTV Premium, which offers ad-free content streaming with up to 4K resolution and unlocks international content.

In total, both the plans offer 168 GB of 4G data (with a 2GB daily limit) and unlimited 5G data. With a monthly average cost of Rs 343, these plans are slightly more affordable, considering their extra perks, than standalone monthly recharge plans with unlimited 5G access.

Which plan will suit your needs?

If you frequently order food from Swiggy, the Rs 1,028 plan might be more appealing. The Rs 1,029 plan is better suited for those who stream movies and TV shows, shop on Amazon, and enjoy free shipping.
