Credit Suisse (Singapore) Ltd,a shareholder of McNally Bharat Engineering Company,today sold over five lakh shares of the company for Rs 4.35 crore through an open market transaction.
According to bulk data available with the stock exchanges,Credit Suisse sold 5,00,840 shares (amounting to 1.61 per cent stake) of Mcnally Bharat for Rs 87 apiece,valuing the deal at Rs 4.35 crore.
However,buyer of the shares could not be ascertained.
As of March quarter,Credit Suisse held 10.50 lakh shares or 3.38 per cent stake in the company.
Shares of Mcnally Bharat surged by 8.4 per cent to close at Rs 94.85 on the BSE.
