No we are not talking about the ‘bending’ Beckham, but his better-half,Victoria. The Tata Motors owned Land Rover and its brand Range Rover seem to be looking for a different perspective for their plush SUVs.
And that has taken them to uncharted territory in the form of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who has already made a name for herself as a fashion designer and she is now all set to expand her design empire into motor vehicles.
The wife of footballer David Beckham has been asked to design the interior of the new Range Rover Evoque, reported
Daily Mail online.
“I am incredibly excited to be collaborating with Range Rover. I like to take on a challenge and I’m ready for it,” said the 35-year-old.
The new car will be available in four-wheel and two-wheel drive versions and will make its official public debut at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September.
The new, smaller and lighter vehicle, will be on sale from summer 2011 and the Evoque will be the “greenest” Range Rover so far produced.
Beckham, wearing a nude asymmetric drape neck dress from her Autumn/Winter 2010 range, was among a host of celebrities invited by Land Rover and fashion magazine Vogue for the 40th anniversary of the car.
