Sheikh Adbulla of Bahrain has told the High Court that he gave Michael Jackson over 676,000 pounds before he had even met the singer.

Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the second son of the King of Bahrain, is suing Jackson to get back what he says he spent on the star in a failed recording venture in Bahrain.

He is hoping to regain 4.7 million pounds from the King of Pop, reports the Telegraph.

The sheikh also claimed that he had spent 450,000 dollars on the star’s brother Jermaine Jackson while he stayed in Bahrain and had bought him a Rolls-Royce when he returned to California. He said that spending was a gift and he never expected it back.

Besides this, the sheikh has claimed that there were many more, including covering Jackson’s 2.2 million dollars legal bill after his criminal trial.

His evidence came as the court heard Jackson would come to London next week to defend himself in person.
