MUMBAI, September 6: Heavy showers just half-an hour before lunch abandoned the sixth day’s matches of the Dr H D Kanga cricket league, today.

In First Division, Cricket Club of India vs National at Brabourne Stadium, Shivaji Park Youngsters vs Victory and M B Union vs Young Friends at the Cross Maidan collected one point each as they completed the two hours play before the rain interruption.

At the Khar Gymkhana, Dadar Union vs Khar and MIG vs New Hind at the MIG ground, Bandra, were abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Rajasthan Cricket Club was the only team to record the first innings result over Kandivli C A in the Third Division at Cross Maidan. Kandivli, after being put into bat, were shot out for 32 in 15.4 overs. Rajasthan reached the target in 1.5 overs with the loss of three wickets. Opener Sushant Manjrekar contributed a rapid 33 (4×4, 2×6).
