BANGALORE, April 13: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is undertaking a leprosy elimination campaign on a large scale in Karnataka. The drive, which starts from April 20, will aim to eliminate the dreaded disease by the turn of the century. Under the programme, mass awareness about the disease will be built up and a training programme organised for all general health staff and medical officers. Steps will be taken to give patients the multi-drug treatment.
