Indian Olympic Association president Suresh Kalmadi was today re-elected as the council member from Asia to the world athletics body, becoming the first Indian to occupy the post for two consecutive terms.
Kalmadi defeated two other nominees from Asia for the coveted post in the elections held in Paris, four days before the World Athletics Championships gets underway there.
