In response to The Indian Express story on Wilson Jones, country’s first billiards world champion, cricketing fraternity has come up with its tribute. Help in the form of a cheque for an undisclosed amount will be handed over to Jones by the Hero Indian Sports Academy (HISA), at a function in New Delhi on April 30. According to Wilson’s daughter-in-law Julia Jones, former billiards champion Michael Ferreira gave a framed message from Kapil Dev, also chief of HISA, meant for Wilson.
