CHANDIGARH, January 9: Acting on a tip-off, the Sector 36 police today claimed to have solved two cases of burglary with the arrest of Satish Kumar, alias Sonu, a resident of Sector 38.
The police recovered a cash box and few other items stolen on Thursday from a provision store in Attawa village, owned by Darshan Singh. About 65 sets of clothing were also recovered from Sonu’s possession.

Meanwhile, Jethu, a resident of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested on the charges of stealing cycles. Three cycles stolen during the past two days were recovered from his possession.
