SSC JE 2024: Final vacancy announced, over 1,700 posts to be filled

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on December 10 has announced the final vacancy list of the Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) exam 2024. As many as 1,701 vacancies will be filled as part of the recruitment process.

The maximum vacancies are announced for Border Roads Organisation (for male candidates only) (483) followed by 432 in the Military Engineer Service(MES) Junior Engineer (Civil). As many as 294 vacancies are announced for Military Engineer Service(MES) JE (Electrical and Mechanical).

The option cum preference form submission for posts and organisations for SSC JE 2024 is underway and will continue till December 13. Candidiates who appeared for the SSC JE 2024 paper 2 exam can submit their preferences through the official website – ssc.gov.in.

Candidates not filling the service preference will not be considered for any post in the final result.

The SSC conducted the JE tier 2 exam 2024 on November 6 and issued the answer key on November 11 and candidates had the option to challenge the answer key by November 14.
