Samantha Ruth Prabhu loses sunglasses to a cheeky monkey in Bali: ‘He does have a really good taste’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making the most of her break from acting by vacationing in the picturesque island of Bali, Indonesia. The actress is currently exploring the beauty of Bali while indulging in advanced yoga and cherishing her time away from the camera. In a recent Instagram video, Samantha shared glimpses of her road trip to Uluwatu in Bali, accompanied by her friend Anusha.

Samantha’s recent visit to Uluwatu was full of surprises. When the actor was busy posing for a picture during her trip, her serene moment was interrupted by a cheeky monkey who swiftly snatched her sunglasses. Samantha managed to share a hilarious picture of herself wearing the sunglasses, with the mischievous monkey caught in the background eyeing the shades. She captioned the image, “The last time I saw my shades.”

Further, Samantha shared a video of a troop of monkeys playfully running around, leaving her curious about their intelligence and antics. She wrote, “About to find out how smart these brats are.” In another video, a man can be seen making an unsuccessful attempt to retrieve her sunglasses from the monkey. Referring to the cheeky monkey, Samantha playfully wrote, “Well…he does have a really good taste.”

Before the incident, Samantha treated her followers to beautiful pictures from her Uluwatu trip. She shared a picture where she can be seen posing near the edge of an old building. She also shared a photo of her standing in front of a wall with the word ‘Uluwatu’ inscribed on it. She captioned the photo with a heart emoji.

Samantha’s break from acting was announced in October 2022 after she was diagnosed with Myositis, an autoimmune condition causing inflammation in the muscles. Despite the health challenge, she successfully wrapped up her pending projects and is now taking a one-year break. Fans are looking forward to seeing her in the Indian version of Citadel, alongside Varun Dhawan, and her upcoming film Khushi, opposite Vijay Devarakonda, is set to release in September.
