It is one of the few moments in Lokesh’s film, where the dialogue seems to be from the director’s heart rather than belonging to the character. Despite being an ardent fan of Kamal Haasan, a vocal atheist, Lokesh comes across as a believer. Now, it is further reinforced with a picture shared by the film’s co-writer Rathna Kumar.
Rathna Kumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj are in Tirupathi to seek blessings from the Hindu temple ahead of Leo’s release, on October 19. Rathan took to Twitter to share a mirror selfie with Lokesh, which has gone viral among Vijay fans.
Visiting Tirumala aka Tirupathi is a ritual followed by many actors and directors in the South, a popular one being superstar Rajinikanth, who frequently visits the temple. He was last seen there in December 2022, along with his daughter Aishwarya. Lokesh is the latest to join the bandwagon.

Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy wrote the film along with Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the two have been praising the film to the moon on social media. Deeraj, who directed Siddharth’s Jil Jung Jak, has said that the sequence of Vijay fighting a hyena will be the highlight of the film.
The anticipation for Leo skyrocketed after the Tamil Nadu government permitted theatre owners to hold five shows in a day instead of four (the default number of shows in the state). However, it is still unclear if there will be early morning shows for the film.
Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Menon, and Priya Anand, Leo follows the story of a Tamil family man, named Parthi, in a small town in Himachal Pradesh. After a life-changing incident, people around him start wondering whether Parthi is what he claims to be.
