Kanguva box office collection day 4: Suriya and Bobby Deol’s epic fantasy action drama received largely negative reviews from the audiences. Considering its scale, the film failed to make a huge impact on the audience, as many reviews pointed out how the different timelines in Kanguva only diluted the film’s essence. Kanguva made a humble start at the box office and earned Rs 24 crores (all languages) on day 1. On the second day, the film saw a massive drop of more than 60 percent and earned in single digits. Kanguva raked in Rs 9.5 crores on Friday, and on Saturday the film collected Rs 9.85 crores. By day 4 (Sunday), Kanguva crawled back into double digits.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, on Sunday, the film earned Rs 10.50 crores taking Kanguva’s total box office collection to Rs 53.85 crores. The film’s Tamil version has been faring well, however, the dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions are not getting a very good response from the audiences. On Sunday, the film’s Tamil occupancy was 33.79 percent with afternoon shows seeing the biggest turnout. Its Hindi occupancy was 14.50 percent on Sunday.
