Australian singer Kylie Minogue wants to embark on a full fledged Hollywood career and is already “fantasising” of a chance to become a respected big screen star one day.
The pop singer, who recently shot a cameo for Bollywood film ‘Blue’,hopes to emulate the success she had with musician Nick Cave in their 1996 music video for ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’,which sparked a desire in her to pursue acting career,Contactmusic reported.
“(Cave) saw me in a totally different way, believed in me and had this idea and a vision for a number of years before he contacted me and we worked together and it was just absolutely perfect,” Minogue said.
“My daytime fantasy is that there is a director somewhere who will be thinking that kind of way but putting it into the context of the film. I would love to do more movies.
I really got waylaid and sidetracked. I started out as an actress and I thought that’s what I would do.”
Minogue, who started her career on Australian show ‘Neighbours’,has made a handful of movie appearance, including ‘The Delinquents’,’Street Fighter’ and ‘Moulin Rouge’.
