After successfully relaunching her musical career,Britney Spears now wants to return to the silver screen.
The pop star had tried her hand at acting with the 2002 film ‘Cross Roads’,but the attempt was slammed by both critics and audiences.
The 27-year-old hit maker is in talks for a time travelling flick called ‘The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eton’ and she is set to start work on the project after completing her ‘Circus’ world tour,reported Contactmusic.
Spears will reportedly play the lead role of Sophia,a woman who creates a time machine,travels back to World War II and falls in love with a man she meets at a concentration camp.
The ‘Toxic’ singer had followed her film role with many TV appearances including a cameo role in ‘Will and Grace’ and a recent stint in ‘How I Met Your Mother’.
