Global star Priyanka Chopra was in for a surprise as her Saat Khoon Maaf director Vishal Bhardwaj visited her. The actor took to social media to share a photo with him. Priyanka was also accompanied by daughter Malti Marie, who sat on her lap while they presumably drove around a hotel. It is not clear whether they met in London or America.
In the picture, the Citadel actor was dressed in a black tee and shorts that she paired with a bright orange shirt. Malti, on the other hand, was dressed in a peach romper with a white t-shirt. She also wore a cute pair of sunglasses and blue and pink shoes.
Recently, Vishal Bhardwaj spoke about why he named Priyanka Chopra in Khufiya credits with a special thanks “When we went to Canada to shoot for Khufiya in 2022, there was a concern on the visa front, post the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. We only got 9 visas, even though we had applied for 40 visas. We had been hoping to get more till the last moment, but that didn’t happen, and we were terribly short-staffed. You can imagine our stress levels at that time. So I called my friend Priyanka, and despite it being a weekend, she helped us organize the required crew overnight. We began our shoot on Monday morning and wrapped the shoot as initially planned,” he told Bollywood Hungama.
In an earlier PTI interview, the filmmaker had even named Priyanka as one of her favourite actors. He said, “Priyanka is my favourite actor to work with. It is always a pleasure to work with her. We have been working on some stories. Maybe one of the Shakespearean adaptations I will do with her.”
Vishal Bhardwaj’s recent film Khufiya dropped on Netflix recently and received rave reviews. The film stars Tabu, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles.
