Sunny Deol lauds Bobby Deol’s performance in Animal: ‘He took over the whole show’

Sunny said, “He (Bobby) is a personality. He is the good looker. He has got everything. It just happens that sometimes you don’t get the opportunity and things don’t come through. He did Aashram and other OTT shows. They were watched by millions of people. So even if people are not watching in cinemas, we are reaching out to people at all the other platforms. ”

He added, “The moment Bobby came over on screen (in Animal), he took over the whole show. He was not like, ‘I am a hero so I can’t play a villain.’ In terms of his screen presence, everybody was like ‘wow’ when they saw him.”

Sunny and Bobby Deol took part in the third edition of SCREEN Live.

The year 2023 proved to be highly fruitful for the Deols. Bobby Deol’s Animal emerged as the third highest-grossing film of the year, while Sunny Deol made a major comeback to the big screen with Gadar 2, which was the fourth highest earner of the year. Adding to the family’s successes, their father, veteran actor Dharmendra left a lasting impression with his heartfelt performance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
