The recent week-long meat ban imposed by Maharashtra in consideration of a Jain festival had invited the ire of many residents of the state, including filmstars, who have taken to social media to condemn the move.

References to a “Dumb” actor and ‘branded castles’ can mean pointing towards Sonam as she is widely known for being a fashionista and someone who would go for the most expensive brands.
