After releasing Dunki Drop 1, Dunki Drop 2 Lutt Putt Gaya, Dunki Drop 3 Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se, and Dunki Drop 4 – the trailer, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to sustain the anticipation among fans. On Monday, Shah Rukh Khan, who plays the lead role in Dunki, teased fans with a sneak peek of the film’s upcoming song, “O Maahi.”
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), SRK announced that the full promotional video of “O Mahi” would soon be revealed. In the caption, he also shared the meaning of Dunki in both Hindi and English. SRK wrote, “Sab poochte hain Iss liye bata raha hoon. Dunki ka matlab hota hai apno se door rehna….aur jab apne paas ho toh bas lagta hai qayamat tak uske saath hi rahein. O Maahi O Maahi. Feel the love before sun sets on the horizon today.”
In a recent #AskSRK session, King Khan mentioned “O Maahi” as one of his favorite tracks from the film album. Dunki features an ensemble cast, including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.
Shah Rukh Khan’s cinematic journey in 2023 has been nothing short of spectacular, marked by two consecutive blockbusters at the box office – Pathaan and Jawan, collectively grossing over Rs 2000 crore worldwide. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki marks Hirani’s return to the theatrical scene since 2018’s Sanju, which became the biggest hit of that year, earning Rs 588 crore worldwide, as per Sacnilk.
