Raghav Chadha shares how life has changed after engagement with Parineeti Chopra: ‘My colleagues tease me less now’

Actor Parineeti Chopra announced her engagement with Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha on May 13. The politician, who was earlier touted as one of the most eligible bachelors, was recently asked about how his life has changed after the engagement and said that now his party co-workers and seniors don’t tease him as much.

In an interview with The Quint, Raghav said, “Well, I think we should restrict this conversation to the political alliances and not personal alliances. But yes, most certainly, my colleagues, co-workers in the party, and my seniors tease me a little less now. Earlier they used to ask me to get married, now they tease me a little less because they know I am getting married soon.”

Parineeti and Raghav exchanged rings in an intimate ceremony, which was attended by close friends and family members. They made it official through their respective social media posts. While lately, they have been venue-hunting for their wedding, they are tight-lipped about the details. The ceremony was also attended by Priyanka Chopra who flew in especially for the big day.

The couple’s relationship rumours started when they were spotted at a dinner date, a few months prior to their engagement. The couple didn’t react to the speculations only to prove them correct with their announcement.

After the engagement, Parineeti posted several moments from the ceremony on social media and shared a long note on Instagram which read, “When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew – I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home. Our engagement party was like living a dream – a dream unfurling beautifully amidst love, laughter, emotion and loads of dancing! As we hugged those we loved dearest and celebrated with them, emotions overflowed. As a little girl in awe of princess stories, I had imagined how my fairytale would begin. Now that it has, it is even better than I had imagined”.

The couple was recently spotted in Amritsar, where they had gone to visit The Golden Temple. They are expected to have a winter wedding in Rajasthan. However, they are yet to make an announcement about the same.
