Actor Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Monday. On Friday afternoon, they left the hospital with her, and were spotted making their way to their Mumbai home. Varun held the baby delicately in his arms, and as their car left the premises of the hospital, they were surrounded by local photographers trying to capture first visuals of the newborn.
As the photos and videos of the Dhawans leaving the hospital were shared on social media, fans congratulated the new parents and wished them luck.
Previously, Varun had announced his daughter’s birth in a social media post. He wrote on Instagram, “Our baby girl is here 💞” and added in the note, “We are overjoyed with this new blessing in our lives. During this special time, we request the media to give us our privacy. Thank you for your support & understanding.”
Varun and Natasha hosted a baby shower in April, which was attended by Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput and their other family members and close friends. Varun and Natasha first started dating when they still in college, and have stayed together since then. The couple tied the knot in 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. In February, Varun and Natasha announced their pregnancy on Instagram. “We are pregnant, Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrenghth,” he wrote on Instagram.
Varun is now looking forward to the release of his next film, Baby John, which has him in an action avatar. After that, he will be seen alongside Janhvi Kapoor in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Varun will also be seen making his digital debut with Raj & DK’s Citadel, also starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, later this year.
