Mr & Mrs Mahi released its trailer a few days ago. The film follows two cricket lovers who fall in love. The husband (Rao) makes it his mission to coach his wife (Kapoor) so she can play the sport professionally. Soon after the trailer’s launch, Karan Johar, the producer of the film, shared an Instagram post introducing the song and wrote, “This song is already echoing in all the hearts with just a small glimpse… and it carries on the purity of love that it did before… A song very close to my heart, soon to be yours from Mr and Mrs Mahi.”

Mr & Mrs Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma, who previously directed Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which also starred Janhvi. The film was first announced in 2021 and has been in the making since then. Janhvi hasn’t had a theatrical release since 2021’s Roohi. Before that, too, Janhvi’s only theatrical outing was her debut film, Dhadak.

After Mr & Mrs Mahi, Janhvi is looking forward to Ulajh, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and her Telugu debut Devara, with Jr NTR. Rajkummar, who was recently seen in Srikanth, is looking forward to Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and the much hyped Stree 2. Mr & Mrs Mahi releases on May 31.
