Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, recently got engaged to her partner Shane Gregoire. The couple celebrated their engagement a few weeks ago, and now, Aaliyah has shared a video on her YouTube channel, giving her fans and followers a glimpse inside the party. Anurag’s former wife, Kalki Koechlin, was also present at the event alongside her boyfriend, Guy Hershberg. Kalki and Guy posed happily with their daughter, Sappho.
In the video, Kalki could be seen dancing joyfully with her boyfriend, and little Sappho took to the dance floor as everyone cheered for her. Anurag was captured dancing alongside Aaliyah and Shane. Anurag was previously married to Aarti Bajaj from 1997 to 2009, and later to Kalki from 2011 to 2015.
Khushi Kapoor and Aaliyah hugged each other and then had a fantastic time on the dance floor. The who’s who of Bollywood graced the engagement party in Mumbai. Suhana Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Palak Tiwari, Varun Dhawan’s niece Anjini Dhawan, Vikramaditya Motwane, Meezan Jaffrey and Alaya F, among others, were spotted.
Aaliyah had taken to her Instagram account to announce her engagement. She had written in a post, “So this happened. To my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my fiance. You are the love of my life. Thank you for showing me what real and unconditional love feels like. Saying yes to you was the easiest thing I’ve ever done and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. I love you forever and always fiance (still can’t believe i get to call you that AAHHHH).”
