Ayushmann Khurrana books 400% returns on his investment in men’s grooming company: ‘Gratifying, insightful’

Ayushmann Khurrana ventured into the world of business with a strategic investment in the company.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who is also an astute investor, recently booked 400% returns on his angel investment in The Man Company, which produces grooming products tailored specifically for men. The actor made a strategic investment in the company in 2018. The brand has now been acquired at a valuation of Rs 400 crore. He also served as the brand ambassador for the brand.

Speaking about his investment, Ayushmann in a statement, said, “Being an integral part of this journey, both as an investor and as a brand ambassador, has been an incredibly gratifying and insightful experience.” The investment, as per a release, was facilitated by YRF’s talent management arm YRF Talent.

There have been a growing number of bets made on startups by celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan.

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana, who was last seen in the 2023 film Dream Girl, will be next seen in the vampire drama Thamba, a sixth addition to Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2. The film too will be directed and produced by Amar Kaushik.

In an interview to India Today, Kaushik revealed the title of the film. “The vampire film is titled ‘Thamba’. We will begin shooting for it in the next two months,” he said. Amar Kaushik and Ayushmann Khurrana had earlier collaborated on the 2019 film Bala.
