Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s much awaited directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood kept him quite busy but looks like of late this star kid has been taking out time for some practice sessions. Aryan was recently spotted showcasing his pickleball skills and the clip is going viral. Aryan was seen with a bunch of friends in one of Mumbai’s local court and the clip was shared on a paparazzi account.
Aryan’s clip was shared with the caption, “The star kid swapped the studio for the field today. Aryan Khan was clicked playing. Looking fit and focused!” Reacting to Aryan Khan’s sporty day out, a fan wrote, “Respect for mini king Khan 🔥🔥🔥❤️.”
But this is not the first time when we saw Aryan in a court. In June this year too, SRK’s son was seen serves up style on the pickleball court in Mumbai.

Aryan prefers to stay away from the limelight. The young filmmaker is often seen quickly getting into his car, and avoiding the paparazzi. Aryan’s car too is completely covered with a grey fabric from the inside and mirrors too stays secured to ensure no cameras capture or record him.
The Ba**ds of Bollywood grabbed attention not just for its bold and gripping narrative, but also for the surprise cameo appearances by some of the biggest names in the industry. The series features an impressive ensemble cast including Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Rajat Bedi, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and Anya Singh, with special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Karan Johar.
In an earlier interview with Variety, Aryan had discussed the creative process of the show and shared how his team was careful about how far to push humour while depicting Bollywood’s eccentricities. “We wanted to be self-deprecating, but not disrespectful anywhere. So I think we maintained that line correctly, and the guardrails were self-imposed, mostly because, making something about the industry and being a part of the industry, there has to be — there is a lot of respect. People being able to take jokes on themselves, I feel, is the first and most important thing about comedy. Take a joke on yourself and then spread the love,” shared the star kid.
Aryan added that people in the industry were “extremely sporting,” and his team consciously avoided crossing lines of sensitivity while writing the show.
Aryan’s show The Ba**ds of Bollywood was also in the headlines after veteran politician and author Shashi Tharoor shared a glowing review. The post also made several social media users flooded his comments section, questioning the authenticity of his praise and accusing him of being part of a “paid PR” campaign for Shah Rukh Khan’s son.
Shashi Tharoor wrote in his review for The Ba**ds of Bollywood, “I’ve been battling a cold & cough and cancelled engagements for two days. My staff and my sister, @smitatharoor, persuaded me to turn my eyes away from the computer part of the time towards a @NetflixIndia series, and it’s one of the best things I have ever treated myself to: absolute #OTT GOLD! ✨ Just finished watching Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, “The Ba***ds of Bollywood”, and I’m left grasping for words of praise. It takes time to grow on you, but then you’re irresistibly hooked! The writing is sharp, the direction is fearless, and the sheer audacity of this satire is just what Bollywood needed. A genius, often hilarious, sometimes moving, and always unflinching look beyond the glamour, sending up every cinematic cliche with razor-like wit — and a series of insider jokes that let the audience into the act & behind the scenes. The seven compelling episodes mark the arrival of a true storytelling powerhouse. Take a bow, Aryan Khan—you’ve delivered a masterpiece: “TheBa***dsOfBollywood” is brilliant! @iamsrk: from one father to another, let me say: you must be so proud!! #AryanKhan #Bollywood #MustWatch.”
Reacting on the post, a comment read, “Its good , but masterpiece? Quite overstatement,” while another asked, “Are you doing paid tweets for Bollywood? I couldn’t tolerate even 15 minutes of the first episode.” Another post read, “Shashi Tharoor new side business _Paid reviews!!”
Reacting to this the politician wrote, “I’m not for sale, my friend. No opinion I express has ever been paid for by anybody, in cash or in kind.”
Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, a satirical action comedy drama created, co-written, and directed by Aryan Khan, premiered on Netflix on September 18, 2025.
