After serving “lewks” with husband Virat Kohli at the recently concluded Indian Sports Honours event in Mumbai, actor Anushka Sharma put her best fashion foot forward once again for yet another event in Mumbai. Anushka, on Friday, attended an awards function, where she wore a beautiful black dress.
On the red carpet, Anushka was seen posing for the shutterbugs, when some of them started shouting her name and requesting her to look in their direction so they can get good pictures of her. Videos of Anushka requesting the paparazzi not to shout have surfaced on social media. As she walked away, one photographer loudly called her ‘Mrs Kohli’. Watch here:
While posing for the paps, Anushka laughed, and said, “Relax, why are you’ll shouting? My ears have still not recovered from all the shouting yesterday.” The photographers informed her that they’re happy to see her attending events, and that they’ve missed her for so long, to which Anushka gracefully smiled and waved.
At the event, Anushka ran into her Sui Dhaga co-star Varun Dhawan, and the two were seen catching up with a quick chat before being joined by Kriti Sanon.
Not just the paparazzi, Anushka’s fans were also excited to see her making public appearances again, after spending several months away from the limelight. Fans took to Instagram and commented on the videos to shower their love on her. One person wrote, “Omg anushka🔥…. What a come back❤️,” another person commented, “Mrs. Kholi❤️.” Looking at her happy-go-lucky demeanour on the red carpet, some fans were reminded of her role in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and they wrote, “We want Ranbir and Anushka together in a movie soon 😭Ayaan and Alizeh💗.”
Anushka was last seen in 2018’s Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero. She is now awaiting the release of Chakda ‘Xpress, the biopic on Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
