Actor Aamir Khan, his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their 12-year-old son Azad were spotted in the hill town of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The family was spotted outside Woodstock School, where crowds gathered to meet the superstar.

According to an India Today report, Aamir is said to be in town for his son Azad’s admission. In a video, which has gone viral, the actor is seen signing autographs just outside the school as eager fans surround him.

Check out the video:

Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan co-parent Azad, and the duo is on good terms. However, Kiran recently shared that it bothers her when people continue to recognise her as Aamir’s ex-wife. In an interview with SoSouth, she said, “So honestly it doesn’t bother me. I do have to say at airports or any public place when people come to me and say, ‘You are…’ and they expect me to complete it and say, ‘I am Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan’s wife.’ I mean ex-wife. That bothers me because people kind of recognise me sometimes and they’re not sure but they know me through Aamir. That’s very annoying.”

Aamir and Kiran met on the sets of Lagaan and got married in 2005 and welcomed Azad in 2011. The two announced their separation in July, 2021.

He added, “The theme is the same but the difference is, unlike Taare Zameen Par, which left you with tears, Sitaare Zameen Par will leave in laughter. Prasanna is directing it and it is an entertaining film. We are looking at the same topic but with a different perspective.”
