Actor Aamir Khan was seen dancing to a song from his film PK as the festivities for his daughter Ira Khan’s wedding kicked off at Udaipur’s Taj Lake Palace. He was accompanied by his ex-wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao, as the two danced to the beats.
The Khan family is in Udaipur for a four-day extravaganza as Ira will tie the knot with fitness expert Nupur Shikhare in a traditional ceremony; the two had a registered marriage in Mumbai on January 3. Ira is Aamir’s daughter with first wife Reena Dutta.
Ira Khan and her friends have been in Udaipur for the lasst few days and have been sharing photos and videos. Now, a paparazzi account shared Aamir dancing to the PK song, ‘Tharki Chokro’.

A group of folk singers and dancers were seen making Aamir dance to the song in a clip. A few other family members also join the group.
In another photo from the wedding location, Aamir was seen posing with his sister and a few other relatives as the ladies were dressed in traditional Maharashtrian style.
Ira also shared a photo of the wedding itinerary, which starts from Sunday. The guests will have a welcome dinner on January 7, followed by the mehendi ceremony on Monday. They will also have a pajama party on the 8th, and the sangeet ceremony will take place on the 9th. Finally, on the 10th, the couple will once again exchange vows in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony.
Going by Ira’s post, last night a bash was hosted as the couple and their friends dressed in all-black attires.
After the Udaipur celebrations, Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare will also host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai at the NMACC on January 13 that is supposed to be attended by Bollywood’s who’s who including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
