JEE Mains 2025 Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked candidates to upload the correct photograph according to the specifications to avoid rejection of the JEE Main 2025 application. The agency has given time till January 17 up to 11.50 pm to upload the correct photo.

All such JEE Main 2025 candidates whose photographs have to be changed will be informed by the Agency through a message on the registered email ID and SMS on their mobile number. These candidates need to log in using their credentials and click on the link to upload a new photograph.

JEE Main 2025: Specifications for Candidate’s Photograph

–Passport size Photograph should be between 10 kb to 300 kb.

–The recent photograph should be in colour with 80 per cent face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

–The photograph should be named “Photograph” and in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly.

–Polaroid and computer-generated photos are not acceptable.

–Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.

–Application without photographs as per the specification given above will be rejected.

Moreover, the photographs need not be attested, as mentioned in the notification. Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport-size colour photographs with a white background.

Candidates should note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated, i.e., de-shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer-made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair means, and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly, read the notification.
